Chloe Mc Millan was today called to the Turks & Caicos Islands Bar by the Chief Justice Hon. Mabel Agyemang upon presentation by Managing Partner Mark Fulford of F Chambers Law Firm.
Chloe Mc Millan comes to F Chambers with significant years of experience in civil litigation inclusive of contract law, hospital claims, personal injury, land disputes, Company restoration, contentious and non-contentious probate. She will help lead the Litigation division of law at F Chambers Law Firm in her capacity as Senior Attorney.
On being Called to the Bar, Chloe Mc Millan stated in open Court, that “It is a privilege to be permitted to practice in this Jurisdiction and I thank your Ladyship for the opportunity as well as the wider Bar and all at F Chambers, in particular Mr Fulford. As a new Attorney of TCI, I pledge to give my best effort to serving the people of TCI and upholding the rule of law to secure justice for those who need it. Being a lawyer is not merely a vocation, it is a public trust and I pledge to uphold that trust with integrity, honesty and always in good faith. I look forward to appearing before the Honourable Chief Justice and the other members of the bench in due course. “
Managing Partner Mark Fulford commenting on Ms. Mc Millan’s call said “ TCI is a unique jurisdiction where there are not many attorneys practicing as litigators and it is fitting to have someone of Chloe’s statue to be able to join the TCI Bar at this time that can represent litigants who feel the need to have their dispute heard either at the mediation level or in the court room. Chloe is competent and experienced to provide such representation.
It is my hope that with recruiting Chloe, she will be able to assist me and the firm in representing the community of Turks and Caicos Islands whose rights have been affected without fear or favour.”
Chloe Mc Millan is also an Attorney at Law from Trinidad and Tobago. She is currently called to the bar in three jurisdictions as she was called to the Bar of England and Wales on the 28th November 2013, the Bar of Trinidad and Tobago on the 18th July 2014 and the Bar of Turks and Caicos Island on the 12th July 2022.
