I thank your Ladyship for this opportunity as it is one, I do not take lightly and an opportunity I have always dreamt of. As a newly admitted Attorney, I intend and promise to give my all to fulfill my duties to the people of the Turks and Caicos Islands. As a local passionate about criminal law practice, I look forward to being before this honourable court and making my mark on the criminal justice system of TCI.”
Managing Partner Mark Fulford, commenting on Ms. Arthur’s call said, “TCI is a unique jurisdiction where there are not many attorneys practicing as litigators, and it is fitting to have a passionate local female like Miss Arthur return home and join the TCI Bar at this time to practice litigation in the areas of Magistrate Court civil disputes, family related matters such as child care, maintenance, and custody matters, divorce and employment related disputes. It is my hope that by recruiting Sasha, she will be able to assist me and the firm in representing the community of Turks and Caicos Islands whose rights have been affected without fear or favour.”
