Shanna was admitted to the Jamaican Bar to practice law in 2010 and immediately joined the
boutique law firm, Pollard Lee Clarke & Associates (now “Kingdom”) where she had interned
for two consecutive years prior to her Bar Call. Shanna obtained her degree in Law from the
University of the West Indies with honours and her Practising qualification certificate from the
Norman Manley Law School, Kingston, Jamaica. Prior to commencing her career in the legal
field, Shanna worked part-time in the banking as well as the insurance industries.

Shanna has practiced chiefly in the areas of civil litigation which includes but is not limited to
litigation in relation to personal injury, commercial claims, banking matters, company law,
landlord and tenant disputes, debt collection, property related claims and estate proceedings.
Shanna in addition to her litigation background has wide experience in conveyancing,
corporate/commercial law, non-contentious probate matters and other non-litigation areas of
practice.

As a part of the F Chambers Team over the last 10 years, Shanna has acted in the capacity of
Supervisor in the Civil Litigation Department and most recently has been promoted to the
Position of Practice Manager. In addition to her managerial duties helping to oversee the day-to-
day operations of the firm she assists with:
– resolving complex legal matters;
– multimillion-dollar real estate transactions for both individual and corporate clients alike;
– the successful brokering of settlements in a number of high value personal injury claims.
Shanna also works closely with a number of financial institutions in respect of their mortgage
and debt recovery portfolios.

In addition to the above Shanna maintains an ongoing practice in Jamaica assisting Kingdom
Chambers with matters from the Magistrate’s Court to the Court of Appeal, appearing
successfully in several matters.
